The Wedding

When Conner swears vengance upon his father's death to find the person or people responsible for the treachery that has brought around his demise, he never imagines it will entail the lovely Brenna. Having seen her once when she was just a child, now almost 10 years later he's there, taking her away from the escort that was taking her to Laird MacNare.

He did it as an insult to the old Laird, but it's soon realized that he's saved Brenna from a cruel and bloodthirsty man.

Brenna is set to give her impromtu marriage everything she can and sets out to show her unemotional husband that she is good for him.

Between his step mother and a lecherous step brother she overcomes the adversities that are thrown in her path, and Conner all very soon realizes what a splendid catch he's made in the bonny Brenna.

Ever a Garwood novel with wonderful characters and lively plots to keep you interested in the story. Brenna kept me tickled with her cleptomaniac tendancies, and was cheering her when she was defending herself!
