Morning Song
She was left to her step mother when her father died while she was young. Jessica quickly learned that her step mother was not what anyone would call a proper widow. She discovered on the long trips to London and everywhere else, Celia had lovers where ever she went.
So when Celia brings home one of her recent to their home Jessie gets a terrible feeling, only to find out that the handsome man is to be her new step father!
Clive has a secret that he's not sharing with anyone in the area and the secret is that he's not the man they think he is! He's playing the part of Stuart Edwards just to get back the fortune that was stolen from him and marrying Celia was only the icing on the cake.
Over time Clive realizes what Celia really is and that Jessie is not the brat he was made to think at first. He takes her and helps her to blossom into a lovely young lady and is hoping to find her a life outside of Mimosa, only he hadn't counted on falling for her himself!
The story is good, though sometimes it's confusing keeping up that Clive and Stuart are the same after a while in some parts of the story.
