Sabrina was such a friendly girl, she could really put anyone at ease with her wit and good humor. It was no surprise then when she was able to bring Duncan MacTavish out of his gloomy mood when she met him. He was being uprooted from his Scotland home to come to England to take over his unknown grandfathers holdings and to find a bride to beget an heir at the same time! He truly needed the smiles she brought his way.

Upon first meeting his "intended" bride it was quite clear that she wouldnt do, Ophilia was more snotty than the queen herself and after insulting Duncan in front of a whole house of people it was aggreed she was out of the picture for good!

Finding someone like Sabrina, so close at hand had been a miracle for Duncan. Her violet eyes always held happiness for him and never failed to make him laugh.

Unfortunelatly there was a nasty rumor about her family's past that could quite well keep her out of arms reach as his family is set against her being a choice for Duncan, though in reality he only sees her as a friend..............at least he did.
