Guardian Angel

Young Jade sets out to protect the Marquess of Cainwood in an attempt to keep him from getting killed by the people who are looking for her. He has unknowingly set himself up in the way while he's tracking the nefarious Pagen, the pirate who has long been known around England as a Robin Hood of sorts. When she approaches him in a lowly tavern, he's taken with her fiery red hair and jade green eyes, and her personality is something to behold. He doesn't know what to make of this nutty young lady who has popped into his life.

As things begin to unravel and the mystery of the accidents that have followed Jade around come out, Caine finds he wants to keep his little crazed lady with him, only she doesn't trust anyone enough to believe him.

Between finding out the true identity of Pagen, the where abouts of Caine's brother Colin and Jade's brother Nathan, things take a conspiracy theory from one end of England to another.

A great book with laughs and great highlights! This of course is picked up in The Gift with Nathan's story. Don't miss it.
