| In the back streets of New York there
lived a close knit gang of boys. Thier only refuge was
each other as was their only source of family since they
were 3 orphans and one run away slave. When one bleak
night they were witnesses to a tragedy in the making, a
small baby thrown in the trash, ready for the rats to
take over. She was saved though by the young boys and it
was decided then that they needed to find a better way of
life, so thier "little sister" could grow up in
better conditions as what they currently had....which was
nothing. moving far west they grew and thrived, each one with their own special skill that took them off the streets and into thier own home and hearth. years later though, the oddness of the "family" would be fodder for questioning from others, namely certain lawyers who needed answers to a long though tragically ended mystery...the disapperance of a wealthy couples only daughter, who was kidnapped as a baby in new york. with histories following them all, they were not happy with people askign questions or snooping in on their family, so the only way someone could get in the know of things was to become 'one of them', and that's exactly what Harrison MacDonald was going to do. He needed to find out if this was another false lead, or if they'd really found the lead he needed. |
