Come the Morning

A viking's daughter who wanted to run her land on her own after her father's death, Mallyora went to King David to pay homeage. Only to find she is betrothed to wed Laird Lion, the King's Scottish champion. Fighting with everything she's got, she wants to avoid the marriage, but fails in spite of herself.

Enemies surround them, trying to divide the families of his new bride and himself. Laird Lion must decide who tells the truth before his new land and his bride are destroyed.

A good story, though sometimes a lot more history than story. Once you get into it, it's a good read.
