An Angel for Emily

When quiet Emily is speeding down a mountain road, the last thing she expects to find is a man standing in the path of her car! Yet finding him basically unhurt and telling her that he's her angel makes her night seem even more impossible !

Ever a softy for someone down on their luck she helps Michael to her hotel and against her thoughts, but not against her heart, she sets out to help him figure out why he's here, though of course she doesn't believe that he's her guardian angel in the least. the man's just nuts !

Event after event forces her to think things over, and ask herself 'what is it about this guy' that gives her peace, yet makes her heart beat faster?

As for Michael, he's always loved Emily, and wants to find out who is trying to kill her andy why are they trying? From the small town of Greenbriar to the lights of the city, they follow the clues that will lead them to the reason he was sent down in the first place , and what he must do to keep her alive.

An excellent read, had it done in one evening ! The story keeps a good pace without lapses in the plot, and the characters are wonderful.
