VICIOUS CYCLE

He loved to see her sorrow,
He loved to see her cry.
Another hit another scar.
This time 'twas on the eye.

He tells her that he loves her,
And she thinks its true.
But when he gets in that mood,
He says "to heck with you".

She trembles in every move she makes,
And tried hard not to show,
The bitterness in her heart,
As he swings another blow.

She's scared of leaving by his side,
But she knows she must leave soon,
For she's expecting a little one,
He hasnt got a clue.

One night while he was sleeping,
She packed up all her bags,
She left the premises late that night.
3 weeks and she came back.

He asked her what had happened,
She told him where she'd been.
He struck another blow,
It went across the chin.

This is a vicious cycle,
And it never was to stop,
At least not until she involved a cop.

Three weeks in the hospital,
Baby got a name,
She waited in the nursery,
The father never came.

Kyle just turned two this year,
And his mother turned to cry,
She had just recieved some news,
The baby's father died.

She always thought it had been,
An archive of the past.
That night she hung herself,
Her life went by too fast.

The baby became an orphan,
And grew up in a home.
And when he reached adulthood,
he became his father's clone.

This is a vicious cycle,
And we must stop it soon.
Be careful who you love,
It could happen to you.
