| How to Draw... Scooby Doo Head |

| You will need: pencil with eraser, paper, colored pencils in aqua green, brown, light brown, peach, white, yellow, black. |
| 1. Lightly sketch Scooby's head as at left. Notice how nose is almost a right angle. The top of his muzzle continues into his right eye. His left eye curve almost matches the other eye. |

| 2. Draw and shade eyebrows. Shade in nose and rub with finger tip to even out shading. Shade body of Scooby at a curve to keep him from looking flater than a Scooby Snack. |

| 3. Shading should be darker where shadows would be (bottom of neck chin, under lip and ears). Use side of pencil lead to shade lighter. Use finger tip or piece of paper towel rolled to a point to even out shading. To create shine on nose use corner of eraser. Don't forget whiskers! |
| 4. If you want color, use brown colored pencil to shade like in #2 & 3 pictures. Use black on nose, aqua green on collar & inside tag, yellow on tag and very lightly on top of Scooby's head, neck and nose, and peach inside ear, white on nose shine. Light brown should be used lightly between areas of yellow and where a dark shadow would be. Even out color with finger or paper towel. |
