In, 1969, "Scooby Doo, Where are you?" premiered on television only to be cancelled two years later. It was brought back in the series " A pup Named Scooby Doo" and the dreadful "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" And there was this "Dog" named Scrappy (nicknamed Crppy Doo). He is a discrace to the Doo name. He was thrown out of a train in a box to his waiting Uncle Scooby. Little did Scooby know, many fans began hating the show. A theroy is that Scrappy's parents were so fed up with him that they threw him off the train in an attempt to kill him. Unfortunatly, this didn't work. From then on there was no Velma. no Freddy. and no Point!!!
The show went from solving mystries with brains and uncovering a criminal who faked ghosts and monsters, to real monsters! the whole show was Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy getting chased by monsters for 15 minutes then doing it again for another 15 minutes. Then came "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo". This featured Scrappy, Daphne, Scooby, Shaggy, Film Flam and Dr. Van Ghoul. The Mystry Machine was also remodled. |
