Scott Stuff Smash Hits Magazine (Australia) July 2002 

* Scott Cain is the 21-year-old winner of the third series of Popstars! It seems that music was always a part of Scott. At the age of four, he used to put on shows for his family. "My first musical memory is singing Do Re Mi in the lounge room with my grandma when I was a child. It's probably my very first memory."

* Moving to Perth three months before Popstars, Scott actually grew up in Port Macquarie and everyone there remembers him. "I'm like a celebrity back home, Mum's made sure," he laughs. She even put up Vote For Scott posters all over town. Bless!

* "I have a brother, David, but he lived in Sydney when I was growing up," says Scott. "I just grew up with my mother and my grandmother. Raised by two women so I'm in touch with my feminine side!"

* As for his own musical tastes, "I'm listening to everything," Scott says. "I've been listening to that Coldplay album quite a bit. And the last CD I bought was the best of Queen."
