Chicken Curry

4 Servings

Ingredients:
1 chicken, cut into 8 to 10 pieces
1 1/3 cups minced onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. chili powder
4 Tbsp. butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup hot water
salt to taste

Directions:
Sauté chicken pieces in butter until golden. Remove.
Gently sauté onions, garlic, and all remaining condiments 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Place chicken parts into sauce. Add 1 cup hot water and 1 cup heavy cream.
Simmer until chicken is tender and reduce to about half original amount.

For variety, you can substitute lamb for the chicken.
