Buttery Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:
1 (3-pound) whole chicken
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. dried rosemary
1/4 tsp. dried thyme

Directions:
Combine butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, and thyme; mix well. (This can be refrigerated for up to 8 hours. This will greatly enhance the flavor.)
Preheat broiler. Cut chicken into serving pieces. Line broiler pan with foil. Place chicken in prepared pan.
Spread a small amount of butter-herb mixture evenly over tops of chicken. Broil chicken, turning and coating frequently with remaining butter-herb mix, until juices run clear when through thickest part of the chicken (about 30 minutes) Reduce the broiling time to 15 minutes if using boneless chicken breasts.
