Daisy and I were married in Taipei in May 2002. Then we traveled to Texas in August 2002 for another wedding in Austin. The Austin wedding was held at Green Pastures.

While studying at The University of Texas at Austin, Scott and Daisy both decided to volunteer for a renaissance-themed dinner show called Madrigal Dinner that was being held at the University. On Saturday, November 20th, 1999, they waited tables and had a chance to watch the show. During a break, Scott introduced himself to Daisy and they began talking. Fortunately, Saturday night was the final performance of the show, with a celebration party following. After getting to know Daisy a little better, Scott decided to invite her to the party, which she graciously accepted.

While at the party, Daisy informed Scott that she would be finishing her Master�s degree soon and returning home to Taiwan. Even so, Scott knew this was a special girl and was not deterred. They soon began dating, and started to fall in love with each other. Unfortunately, Scott still needed an additional year of school before graduating. As they started to plan their future together, the new couple decided it would be best for Daisy to go back to Taiwan and wait for Scott to finish school. Although it was very difficult to be apart for the whole year, Scott and Daisy exchanged frequent e-mail and telephone calls to keep the relationship as strong as ever. The wait was worth it. Upon graduation, Scott flew to Taiwan to begin his new life with Daisy. Together at last, they were as happy as could be, with their whole lives ahead of them. There was no doubt in their minds that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Soon after, they were engaged to be married, and looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
