The Mini Aussie's are a smaller version of the Austrailian Shepherd. They are well balanced and very athletic. They are small to medium in size and have a medium lenth coat which does require some grooming. General coat colors are : Blue merle, Red Merle, Black Tri, Red Tri and Bi-Black. General Eye Colors are: Amber, Brown, Hazel. They also can be solid with flecks in them. Their size makes them easiily adaptable to City or Farm life. |

Aussie's are highly intelligent, easy to train and to work with. They are wonderful companions, preferring to be at your side. Some can be a bit aloof with strangers, while others are outgoing. Miniature Aussie height is 13"-17", with a tail not to exceed 3". Toy Aussies are under 13" with a 1" (or less) tail lenghth. Ears should be in proportion to the dog falling slightly forward. |

Aussie's have a good, even dispositon. They are not normally given to a quarrel. They generally get along real well with other dogs as well as people. |

These dogs are the result of years of concentrated breeding in the down-sizing of the Standard Aussie by breeding the smallest to the smallest. Most registered Miniature Australian Shephers have many generations of the miniature lineage. |
