Shaheed Jan is searching for old Sikh and Hindu friends from Peshawar before 1947
Shaheed Jan (Shahid Jan) S/O KB Qazi Ahmad Jan (Munshi of Peshawar) was born in 1932 in Peshawar. He studied in Khalisa (Khalsa) High School Peshawar Cantonment and later Edwardes College. Lived in the house opposite Polo ground Peshawar Cantt. He now wants to contact his old friends/ colleagues from his school prior to 1947 or their families or friends in order to know about their whereabouts.

Dr Ali Jan (Son) <[email protected]> , Peshawar, Pakistan.
1. Chander Mohan and Jogindar Mohan: Two brothers. Lived near Choti (small) Lal Kurti in Saddar behind ice factory. Shaheed Jan was hit by Chander Mohan with hockey stick on his forehead whilst playing in polo ground. Scar mark still bears prominent.
2.
Sobhash Chander S/O Dr Baghat (Bhagat) Ram. Lived in Babu (Baboo) Mohalla near Shafi building Peshawar. Played hockey together. Believe he joined the Indian army.
3.
Hermohinder (Harmohinder) Singh S/O Sardar Thakir Singh, headmaster of Khalisa High School Peshawar Cantt. Lived in Shafi building Sadder. Good friends and studied together in various parks in the Cantonment. Good-looking chap.
4.
Sukhdev Singh. A very bright but serious boy. A good friend. Studied together in his home at Shafi Building.
5.
Aperapar Singh. Lived in Sahib Singh building Saddar. Studious boy and a good friend.
6.
Autar Narain. A meek slim looking chap who was a very good singer. Together we received music lessons and sang together in school functions. Lived in Kawatra Building Sadder Road.
7.
Krishan Lal. Played hockey and we were both in the school hockey team. Lived in the lane opposite the General Post Office (GPO) in Peshawar. Later converted to Islam, however migrated to India in 1948.
