Hadya Saqlain wrote: To begin with, I thank you so much. Being a student of CJM, I feel deep gratitude for all those who value that wonderful place, the nuns, the life and what all it taught us. I would now like to introduce myself. My name is Hadya and I joined CJM Murree when I was 5 years old (1988 - 2000). It was one of the most wonderful experiences in my life. Theres nothing in my memories of CJM that I would want to erase. I still havent found friends that I could value more than the ones I grew up with. All of whom are conventarians!
Those days shall never come back,
But the memories of that time, my mind doesn't lack,
It was a time when we were happy and carefree,
And its precious to those who were there to see,
A beautiful serene place to be,
Convent of Jesus and Mary Murree.

The autumn season and the falling leaves,
The Oxford Villa surrounded by the lush green trees,
The sunsets that took our breath away,
The cool breeze and the stars had so much to say,
The dark clouds and the wind left us dazed,
To find the white snow in the cold winter days.

How everything was so organized and planned,
Is only found in the CJM land,
To be constantly taught about caring, truthfulness and honesty,
The spirit of each house, Courtesy, Endeavour, Service and Loyalty,
How much we liked to whisper in the night,
Those times when petty things would start a fight.

Our passion for sports was so deep and intense,
So protected we were from hypocrisy and pretense,
How close we became to each other,
That it's still difficult to part with one another,
Back then life as an obstacle we did not see,
All that mattered was the thrill of picking an apple from a tree.

We had a streak of hope and love for eternity,
It was the paradise of our childhood days, which set us free,
It was a once in a lifetime experience and will never come again,
But in our memories it will forever remain,
Those were the golden days and my best ever,
In CJM, where we started the journey of our lives together...
