Pre-nWo
- The New World Order was somewhat formed from the remains of Da UltraTribe. It is this group that was the basis for the introduction of the nWo to the Mega Wrestling Federation.
- Early August 1999, a Countdown was put in place and posted on the MegaTron at all major MWF events. The numbers pointed towards the end of August when the countdown would be complete. At that time, Da UltraTribe was formed and made known to the MWF. The members included, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Tiger Shark, Triple H, Skeet and The Rock(Now Goombah). This faction lasted only a short while but would prove to be the base from which the New World Order would rise and become dominant in the MWF.
Beginning Of An Era
- That brings us to MWF HELLFIRE where the beginning would be, a small one, but a true beginning to building one of the greatest factions ever. During the IC Title Match between then-Champ Jeff Stevens and Chris Jericho, Jericho knocked out Stevens cold with the Lion-Tamer and won the MWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match, the trend began as he proceeded to spray paint n W o on his fallen opponent's back. Little did anyone know that this would ultimately become and make a huge impact in the federation.
New World Order Begins
- Soon after, it was made known that Booker T and Tiger Shark would join Jericho with a common goal, be the best in the biz', so to speak. MWF Annihilation came and Booker came in with his first taste of gold, the RIOT title which he defended against Alex Nero. He ended up losing but it proved to be great experience for the rookie and also brought back Blade, who joined the nWo team that night as well. Slowly, the nWo was beginning to make news.
Trouble for the New Guys
- Between Annihilation and the upcoming Demon's Blood, Tiger Shark left for a time and the nWo was down 2 members. 2 members because Blade turned on the nWo during this time and teamed up with a newcomer by the name of Chris Carpenter. It was just Jericho and Booker T now and things were not looking good. To make matters worse, the faction was quickly growing enemies.
Demon's Blood, Booker defended the RIOT Title once again, as he won it back from Nero on RIOT 2 weeks earlier. This time, it was a Buried Alive match against..who else but Chris Carpenter. Booker had the match won, looking for his first PPV victory but it was not to be as the returning Tiger Shark attacked Booker, costing him the title. The nWo was collapsing. Dark days were ahead and it was uncertain they would last.
Anyone Home?!
- For the next month or so, there was no real showing of the New World Order in the MWF. DX and the Impact Players held the main event feuds as Mr. Moldovanyi made a return to cause trouble as he always did. Booker T did fight in a 6-man tag at November's PPV, Severe Property Damage alongside Michael Jones and Hall Of Famer X-Pac winning as Stevie Ray disguised himself as a wrestler on the other team. The only time in MWF history that the 2 brothers were in the same ring together. But the fact still remained: Where was the nWo? What would happen to it?

- Twas' the night of Lethal Battle and all through the house,
Everything was quiet, including Mr. M's mouse.
The atmosphere built and fans in wait
In hopes that something special would show up at the gate.
And not a moment too soon, it came out of nowhere
Surprising, excited, the nWo was here.
The return of the New World Order became quite apparent as they made a big showing at the 2nd Lethal Battle. PG-13, consisting of Skeet and Havoc, beat the Impact Players in a huge Tag Team Match with the help of Booker T. After the match, it was made official with the spray-painting of the defeated opponents, the nWo WAS BACK! Then, Booker faced off against Maxx Fury in his 1st Main Event matchup, defending his RIOT Title against Fury's IC Title. It was a hard-fought battle, with PG-13 even stirring things up but to no avail as Maxx came out on top. Even with the loss, the nWo was definitely making headlines once again with this dramatic return to the MWF.
The Re-Birth
