E-mail Distribution Lists

This FOCUS program will create e-mail distribution lists based upon entries made on SIS screen 208. For example, you could use a flag to "tag" a group of individuals whom you want to notify (via e-mail) of an upcoming event or class. Be sure to check the screen help for SIS screen 208 to know which fields are safe to use and which fields you should avoid. In this example, the bottom half are being used (flags 13-19 & 32-38). Also, the e-mail addresses are retrieved from SIS screen 10. Next, once you receive the message in your e-mail program (in this case Microsoft's Outlook), copy and paste the addresses within the message into the "To:" field, create and send your message as usual.
