Graduate Index Cards

This FOCEXEC produces the graduate index card labels for the specified academic terms. The graduate name, full major name, and any honors are listed. A couple of things to note regarding this process. First, I used some OpenVMS DCL to change the "layout" of the mailing labels so you could print on the kind used in laser printers. Next, a separate DECODE file was used for the major field instead of getting the translation from the DBD. This allowed us to "lengthen" the description of the major instead of relying on the "short" translation in SIS. Also, we modified screen 124 (which holds the transcript text) so we could enter in the "graduation name" (name that goes on the degree). For example, "Joe Smith" may want "Monkey Smith" on his diploma. :-) Finally, screen 124 also holds any honors information.
