Area Code Change

This Uni-Basic program/Uni-Query paragraph combination will update the area code information within Benefactor. First, in order to locate these changes, check out this site. Click on "History" (left side of screen) and then select the applicable year. This will take you to the area code history for that year, which specifies what changes were done and when. If you are able to 'cut and paste' the impacted exchanges while retaining the columnar format, the Uni-Basic program listed in the source code will go through them and pull out the ones that are in your Benefactor files. You might have to use a text based browser like Lynx in order to accomplish this feat. Once you have selected the exchanges that need to be updated, the Uni-Query paragraph will take this information and update the address data.
