Admissions Prospect Letters

This FOCUS program creates a Microsoft Word data source, which is used to generate an Admissions' letter to designated prospects. This way, you can produce great looking letters. You know, the kind that don't look like they came from a computer; but everyone knows they did. Please note how you can dynamically change the SIS field being used in the program. That is, you can specify a list using ethnic code, Admissions representative, etc. In addition, you will need to set up a DECODE file to translate the major code if you do not want to use the default DBD translations. Finally, once you open the data source into Microsoft Word, use "|" as the field delimiter and "*" as the record delimiter. Hopefully, these two characters don't appear in any of the student data.
