Research Committee

(a)    A Research Committee has been established consisting of scholars from

      various academic disciplines and who have knowledge and interest in the

                        understanding of scientific interpretation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an.

                  (b)  All Trustees are the members of the Committee.

(c)  The additional members of the Committee are selected by the Managing

      Trustee such that to represent a wide variety of scientific and academic

      fields.

                  (d)  The number of Committee members, apart from Trustees, is Ten.

                        However, the Managing Trustee can invite any scholar(s) as and when he

                        feels necessary.

                  (e)  The Managing Trustee or his nominee is the chairman of the

                        Committee.

   (f)  Other persons who are not normally the members of the Research

         Committee can also attend the meetings as observers.

                  (g)  The meetings of the Committee are held normally once in a month.

                  (h)  The committee discusses various verses of the Holy Qur’an and

                         proposes scientific topics for research to be carried out in the universities

                         and other academic / research institutions of the country or abroad.

                  (i)  The Committee shall also evaluate the progress of the research being

                         carried out.

                  (j)  Financial assistance required for research, if any, shall be arranged by

                        the Board of Trustees.
