In Dark Angel's second season finale, which turned out to be the last ever episode as well, in the great injust cancellation, wrestling star Lita made a guest appearance as a member of a deadly group of assasins. The great thing about famous guest stars like that is when their likeness is already out there in plastic form, so a Thula figure seemed like a no-brainer!
Thula is made entirely from a Lita figure...I'm sure there are a few of them, this is just the first one I could lay my hands on. She's in a larger scale, so I removed a chunk from her legs, and also her big platform heals, to bring her down in size. She still towers a little over Max, which I felt was appropriate! I sculpted her armour with milliput, and blister plastic for the 'shell' on her back, which you can't actually see, but never mind! I'm not sure where the gun came from, but she needed some weaponry, and it looked appropriate! I'm quite haoppy with how she turned out, even if the legs did end up a big wonky in the shortening process!! |
