Dark Angel's second season frankly got more than a little weird. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it, but it was not quite the same animal as the first season, with too much emphasis, in my view, on the weirder monsters. Joshua was one of these, in fact added to the regular cast. He was fun, but I'm not sure how much he really contributed to the show or just made it annoying. He did however have a key role in the mysterious "destiny" plot gradually unravelling throughout the second season, until the show was unjustly cancelled leaving us all hanging on a thread with no idea how anything was to be resolved! One of the great tragedies of the TV industry!
Anyway Joshua is a wrestler guy...one of the Hardy's, but I couldn't tell you which one! Instead of trying to fill in his chest, I built up a top with paper of all things, I don't think it looks bad at all! The outer jacket is just some approriately coloured cloth. I wasn't sure how much success I might have with sculpting his face, but I think it worked out pretty nicely in the end! Its a shame Joshua was dropped from Art Asylum's Dark Angel wave, but he finally made it to my shelf! |
