I always fealt it was a great injustice that Nog never got a proper figure in the Playmates Star Trek line, aside from being an accessory that came with a Rom figure early on! So I finally got around to correcting this oversight!
This was a figure I had quite a lot of fun with, and also caused some damage to my finger, slicing off the skin over my knuckle. As luck would have it however, by leaving the plaster over it for ages, it sort of sealed back on and healed up nicely, there's only a very small scar now! But back to the figure, he's a combination of a Ferangi and a Riker figure. The torso, and the upper parts of the arms and legs come from Riker, but I sliced off the Ferangi limbs at the appropriate place and attached them. I had to sand down the arms to fit properly, and had to fiddle quite considerably with the legs, but I think it paid off! The head is also from the generic Ferangi figure, but I feel there is a likeness to Nog there! I had to resculpt the undershirt around the neck to accomodate his head, but I think it worked out nicely! |
