As I outlined with Archer, I was determined to create the Enterprise crew in a scale that would match the old style figures, but I didn't get very far! One of only three figures I managed, here is Hoshi, the communications officer of the original Enterprise, who tragically got left out of Art Asylum's line-up!
As with Archer, I used a SeaQuest figure as the base, as the sculpted uniform is almost a perfect match for the Enterprise outfits! The head, I beleive, came from a McDonald's Mulan figure...I had a bit of difficulty removing it as it had a metal stick through it! But I got there eventually...it looks a little too "animated" in style, but its not too bad! I did manage to paint this one in a matt shade, unlike Archer who is too shiny, but I can't say I'm overly stunned with it! Oh well! |
