Chad's Summary: O'Neill is captured by Baal's Jaffa forces while attempting to rescue someone for Kanan -- O'Neill's temporary Tok'Ra symbiote. Baal tortures O'Neill to gain information. The Tok'Ra Torrin arrives at the SGC with distressing news regarding O'Neill. SG-1 investigates while Daniel Jackson visits O'Neill to assist him in ascending, out of O'Neill's current plight, onto a higher region of existence. However, O'Neill wants Jackson's help in mounting an escape from Baal's evil clutches. Baal tortures O'Neill for intelligence about the Tok'Ra. After further torture, O'Neill relents and tells Baal of Kanan. O'Neill makes a gut wrenching request of Jackson: the next time O'Neill is killed and revived by Baal that Jackson, using his new supernatural powers, not allow O'Neill to be revived yet again. However, Jackson can not fulfill O'Neill's request. SG-1 find a possible location for Baal's hide out, and a motive for the actions of O'Neill and Kanan. Before blending with O'Neill, Kanan fell in love with one of Baal's servants. Teal'c proposes an ambitious but risky plan to save O'Neill. He requests that Yu the Great mount an attack on Baal's base, thus, giving O'Neill a fighting chance to escape. In the subsequent attack, the power goes out. O'Neill escapes his cell to find Kanan's love. Back in the SGC infirmary, Jackson says goodbye to O'Neill once again.
