Chad's Summary: With the death of the Tollan Omoc, the Tollans become more receptive to Earth's requests for advanced technology. Narim gives Carter a warning that Earth is in grave danger. The Tollans want a supply of the non-Earth element Trinium -- which Earth ha access to through an off-world mine -- in exchange for giving Earth a Tollan Ion Cannon. Earth would need thirty-eight ion cannons to set up a proper defensive network to cover the entire planet not to mention backups. Narim voices his suspicions to SG-1 that Omoc may have been murdered. Carter, Teal'c, and Narim investigate his concerns while O'Neill and Jackson negotiate for ion cannons. Narim is stunned that O'Neill and Jackson obtained their requested number of ion cannons. They discovered a conspiracy surrounding Omoc's death. SG-1 trace the Trinium shipment to a Tollan storage facility where the conspiracy between the Tollan High Council and the Goa'uld Tanith who is now working for the Goa'uld Anubis. The Tollans are building bombs for the Goa'uld using the Trinium. Carter, Jackson, and Narim discover that the ion cannons no longer function properly just before Travell and Tanith take them hostage. Narim escapes to find O'Neill and Teal'c who have just evaded a sticky situation of their own. Narim destroys the bombs before they can be used against Earth as O'Neill and Teal'c act as decoys or diversions while Narim completes his work. SG-1 leave the planet bound for Earth. The SGC receives an ominous message from Narim that cuts off in mid-sentence.
