Chad's Summary: A brash young cadet named Jennifer Hailey (Elisabeth Rosen) joins SG-1 on a scientific mission as a last resort to keep her in the Air Force Academy. O'Neill and Teal'c discover a new life form which the scientists on the mission want to study. O'Neill objects to the scientists plan to study the new found organism. After Carter and Hailey arrive on the planet, O'Neill relents and allows an organism to be tested. After some time, the test subject is released. Dr. Bill Lee (Bill Dow) witnesses several organisms attack Dr. Thompson (Roger Haskett). O'Neill and Teal'c go to investigate and find Dr. Thompson dead. The organisms trap the team and the scientists in the research base. Carter and Hailey have different opinions on the solution to the problem. After O'Neill is shot once with a Zat Gun, he manages to dial the gate. The group returns home.

Actor Notes:

Bill Dow appeared in the Special Unit 2 (2001 to 2002) episode "The Eve" as Al Capone. He played three different roles on The X-Files (1993 to 2002) in eight episodes. First, Dow portrayed the Dad in the episode "The Jersey Devil."   Secondly, he played the part of Dr. Newton in the episode "War of the Coprophages." Finally, Dow appeared as Dr. Charles Burks in the following six episodes: "The Calusari," "Leonard Betts," "Biogenesis," "Rush," "Hollywood A.D.," and "Badlaa." He also portrayed Dr. Barrison Hahn in the Seven Days (1998 to 2001) episode "X-35 Needs Changing." Dow appeared in two episodes of Millennium (1996 to 1999) in two roles. First, he played Dr. Schroeder in the episode "The Fourth Horseman." Secondly, He appeared as a C.D.C. Examiner in "Borrowed Time." Dow appeared twice on The Outer Limits (1995 to 2002) in two different roles. First, he played the part of Doc Fink in the episode "Revelations of Becka Paulson." Secondly, Dow appeared as Dr. Keeler in the episode "In Our Own Image." He played Morty Woods in the Viper (1996 to 1999) episode "My Fair Hoodlums." Dow portrayed the part of Phil Tanner in "The Sentinel (1996 to 1999) episode "Neighborhood Watch." On Highlander: The Series (1992 to 1998), he appeared as Harry in the episode "Epitaph for Tommy." Dow appeared as Mickey in the "Ashes to Ashes" episode of Dead Like Me (2003 to 2004).

Elisabeth Rosen appeared in two horror films in the recent past. First, she played New Dawn Kid in Bless the Child (2000). Secondly, Rosen appeared as Skye in House of the Dead (2003). She appeared as Tanya Norton in the Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal (1996 to 2000) episode "School of Thought."
