Chad's Summary: On Abydos, the team encounter the Harcesis child named Shifu (Lane Gates) who appears from a tornado--like sand storm. The boy is taken back to the SGC for medical testing. Then, the team debate the pros and cons of having access to the Goa'uld genetic memory. After a conversation with Daniel, Shifu touches him on the forehead giving Daniel the genetic memory of the Goa'uld. Later, Daniel uses his new found knowledge to build a weapon capable of fighting the Goa'uld. However, the knowledge and the power of the Harcesis proves too much for Daniel to handle. He begins to act strangely and rashly. O'Neill realizes that Daniel is losing his grip on reality. Carter discovers Daniel's true purpose for the weapon -- taking over the world. The new weapon -- a series of satellites to cover the globe --is launched. Some time later, Daniel rests control of the U.S. from the President. He then targets Russia in response to an earlier attack made by the Russians. After Russia is destroyed, Daniel awakens in the infirmary. The preceding events were a dream induced by Shifu to show Daniel what could happen if the humans and their allies got a hold of the genetic memory of the Goa'uld. Shifu is put through a lie detector test using the Zaytark Detector. Daniel realizes that Shifu really is the Harcesis boy, and that they can not get any information from him. Shifu leaves the base through the Stargate in a ball of light.
