Chad's Summary: During a weapons test onboard a modified Goa'uld Death Glider [now known as the X-301], O'Neill and Teal'c are stranded in space. Onboard the ship, a recording of Apophis states that the ship will return to Apophis' home world because of a recall device installed in the ship. The X-301 will take hundreds of years to reach Apophis' destination. After a failed attempt to use the ship's missile rocket motors to make a turn around Jupiter headed back to Earth, Jackson and Carter embark on a mission to find a Tok'Ra operative on a covert operation on a Goa'uld planet. The Tok'Ra operative is Jacob Carter/Selmak who has a Goa'uld Scout Ship. After an argument, Jacob decides to help in the rescue of O'Neill and Teal'c. Teal'c places himself in a deep state of Kel-no-reen to conserve oxygen. Jacob and Samantha have to make emergency repairs to the scout ship. Meanwhile, Jackson --speaking in Goa'uld-- claims to be the Great and Powerful Oz [from the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz] in a conversation with Goa'uld onboard another ship. Later, the rescue team intercepts the X-301 and recover O'Neill and Teal'c using the Ring Transport System.
