Chad's Summary: The SGC receives an impassioned plea for help from an Eurondan named Alar (Rene Auberjonois). SG-1 gate to Euronda to give the people humanitarian assistance and to negotiate for advanced technology to defend against the Goa'uld. On the planet, the team are taken to a room containing thousands of people placed in stasis. Alar allows O'Neill to test a virtual reality device capable of controlling several fighter drones at once. However, the device has a serious side effect. After prolonged exposure to the neural interface, the operator becomes a zombie. The Eurondans use controlled fusion as a means to generate power. O'Neill makes a deal to provide the Eurondans with heavy water--the substance that powers their defense shield--in return for instructions on how to build aero fighters, stasis devices, and power generators. Jackson has reservations about the deal. He and Carter return to Earth to tell General Hammond about the deal and to get the water. During a battle with the Eurondan enemy, O'Neill and Teal'c man aero fighters while Jackson and Carter return with the water. After the battle, O'Neill has regrets about killing people--not an unmanned drone like he had shot down earlier. Jackson has more questions for Alar, but O'Neill tells him to shut up. O'Neill, then, realizes that Alar is racist against Teal'c. O'Neill tells Jackson to ask more questions while he and Teal'c look around. O'Neill and Jackson independently realize that the Eurondans are clones. The conflict on Euronda is a conflict between the clones and the humans on the planet. Jackson tells O'Neill that the clones started the war. O'Neill and Teal'c get back into the aero fighters to attack the clones' fighters. They crash the aero fighters into the base. SG-1 return home and are followed by Alar who dies when he impacts the Iris.
