Chad's Summary: SG-1 is placed on leave in order that Daniel Jackson can recover from an appendix operation. Teal'c is off-world visiting his son Ry'ac. O'Neill is planning a fishing trip and asks Carter to come along. She decides to stay on the base to study the decay rate of Naquadah. Before he can leave on his trip, O'Neill is transported to Thor's ship which is infested by blue colored, spider-like, Replicator bugs. Teal'c is called back to the SGC. O'Neill finds a dying Thor in the medical bay of his ship. After a brief conversation, Thor passes out. Meanwhile, O'Neill watches video recordings, made by Thor, about the Replicator bugs. During a briefing between General Hammond, Carter, and Teal'c, O'Neill contacts the base using a holographic communication device. He orders several explosives planning to blow up Thor's ship before the Replicator bugs can infest Earth. Along with the explosives, General Hammond orders Carter and Teal'c to assist O'Neill. Goa'uld weapons prove ineffective against the Replicators, however, Earth weapons are very effective. The explosives will not destroy the Asgard ship. The Replicators consume the ship to make more of themselves. The team come up with an alternate plan to crash the ship into the atmosphere of Earth. O'Neill and Teal'c go in search of the bridge already inhabited by the Replicators. Back on Earth, Daniel Jackson is having a hard time not being with the rest of SG-1. Teal'c embarks on a space walk to plant explosives on the outside of the ship. A corrosive liquid falls on to Teal'c's Oxygen pack and slowly eats away at the pack causing oxygen to flow out. The door to the air lock malfunctions, and Teal'c can not get back into the ship. In order for Teal'c to be transported back on board the ship, he must push off the ship into space. Low on oxygen, Teal'c is transported to the ship. The Stargate is transported on board the ship in order for SG-1 to escape the ship. General Hammond orders that the Beta Stargate be moved to the SGC. During a gun fight with the Replicators, the explosives are activated, and the ship crash lands into the Pacific Ocean. Among the wreckage of the ship, one Replicator bug survives the crash.
