Chad's Summary: On Tollana, Dr. Jackson requests that the Tollans give the humans advanced weapons, in return for helping the Tollans earlier, to use in the fight against the Goa'uld. The Tollans deny his request, and O'Neill angrily walks out the room followed by SG-1. O'Neill steals a Tollan device capable of disabling human and Goa'uld weaponry. When General Hammond finds out that O'Neill stole the device, he and O'Neill get into a heated argument over the morality of obtaining advanced weapons at any cost. O'Neill is relieved of his command and sent to the infirmary escorted by Teal'c. High Chancellor Travell (Marie Stillin) arrives at the SGC to reclaim the stolen Tollan technology. O'Neill chooses early retirement over a court--martial as punishment for his actions. At his home, Jackson comes to visit O'Neill to talk. Jackson tells O'Neill that the Tollan have more to offer than their technology. O'Neill is unconvinced. Col. Maybourne visits O'Neill and offers him the command of a rogue Stargate unit to obtain new technologies. O'Neill tells him to leave. Col. Makepeace takes command of SG-1. O'Neill accepts Maybourne's offer and requests to retire on Edora. Hammond grants his request. O'Neill gates to Edora and then gates to the world where the rogue Stargate team is located. O'Neill and his new team's first mission is on P3X-595 to obtain an invisibility device which turns out to be a piece of Asgard technology on an Asgard protected world. O'Neill gates to a world to hide the device for a rogue SGC member to bring back to Earth. SG-1 gates to the same world, and Makepeace picks up the device. After SG-1 leaves the planet, O'Neill returns to the rogue team's base. An Asgard ship arrives to reclaim their stolen property. Meanwhile, O'Neill returns to Earth followed by the rogue agents. O'Neill arrests Col. Makepeace and tells him that Earth does not need the advanced technology of the Tollan, Nox, and Asgard. However, Earth does need the Tollan, Nox, and Asgard as allies in the fight against the Goa'uld. The rogue agents are all under arrest for high crimes against the United States and its' allies.
