Chad's Summary: Dr. Carter and Major Kawalsky enter Area 51, from an alternate reality, through the quantum mirror. Dr. Fraiser examines the both of them and discovers that they are Carter and Kawalsky. Jack O'Neill and Samantha Carter are somewhat perplexed by the situation. During a debriefing, Kawalsky gets angry at Teal'c because in Kawalsky's reality Teal'c led the Goa'uld invasion of Earth. Dr. Carter and Kawalsky request to remain in the current reality. They are given temporary quarters until a decision can be made. In her quarters, Dr. Carter looks at a wedding picture of O'Neill and Herself. O'Neill informs Carter that They can stay, and he finds out that O'Neill and Carter were married in the alternate reality. Dr. Carter begins going through entropic cascade failure, because two Samantha Carter's can not exist in one reality. Jackson suggests that the Asgard from the alternate reality could help resolve the situation. Meanwhile, the Carters fix the Asgard power generator. Kawalsky and Jackson search for the alternate reality from which he and Dr. Carter came. O'Neill, Dr. Carter, Kawalsky, Jackson, and Teal'c go to the alternate reality using the mirror. In the alternate reality, Apophis is alive. Teal'c kills the alternate reality counterpart of himself. Using the mirror, Jackson attempts to find their home reality. Apophis tortures the counterpart of General Hammond. Assuming his counterpart's role Teal'c brings Dr. Carter to the Stargate. O'Neill and Kawalsky attach the power generator to the gate's power supply. Dr. Carter goes through the gate to contact the Asgard. The team is taken hostage by Apophis, and he tortures the team one by one with a Zat gun. The Asgard arrive to protect the humans from the Goa'uld who then retreat through the Stargate. Teal'c and Jackson return home while Dr. Carter kisses O'Neill to the dismay of another Carter.
