Chad's Summary: Before SG-1 embarks on their next mission, General Hammond hands Carter a note. On the other side of the gate, SG-1 appear to be still in the gate room of the SGC. The gate room fades to reveal the inside of a missile silo. They soon discover that the year is 1969. SG-1's equipment is inventoried by a young Lt. George Hammond (Aaron Pearl). He finds a cryptic note, written by his future self, urging him to help SG-1. During an Interrogation, O'Neill claims to be both Captain James T. Kirk, of the Starship Enterprise, and Luke Skywalker. After some convincing by SG-1, Lt. Hammond helps them escape. O'Neill retrieves a GDO and destroys the rest of their equipment. After borrowing some money from Hammond, O'Neill stuns him with a Zat gun to protect his future. SG-1 hitchhike with two hippies on their way to Woodstock in New York. Around a camp fire, SG-1 discuss their situation and realize that solar flares sent them to 1969. The rest of General Hammond's note lists the time and date of two solar flares. After telling Michael (Alex Zahara) and Jenny (Amber Rothwell) that they are aliens, O'Neill and Teal'c go to a planetarium to confirm the accuracy of the solar flares. Meanwhile, Jackson and Carter, in Disguise, visit a young Catherine Langford (Glynis Davies) about the location of the Stargate in 1969. The Stargate is located in Washington D.C. They find the Stargate and use a military vehicle to power the gate. During a fire fight, SG-1 jumps through the gate and are thrown far into the future. They meet an old Cassandra (Pamela Perry), and she sends them home. General Hammond tells O'Neill, with interest, that they owe him $539.50.
