Chad's Summary: A young boy, who will only speak to O'Neill, arrives at the SGC with a deadly warning about a rebel Re'tu faction. The Re'tu are invisible to humans. O'Neill tells everyone that the boy survived a massive Goa'uld attack. Teal'c observes a second conversation with the boy who is now called Charlie (Jeff Gulka). Charlie is terrified of Teal'c. His symbiote is very nervous. Dr. Fraiser discovers that Charlie has many medical problems. During a third conversation with Charlie, Carter realizes that the Re'tu rebels want to destroy all possible Goa'uld hosts. A good Re'tu is on the base, and Charlie refers to her as his "mother."  To render assistance, Jacob Carter/Selmak comes to Earth. Selmak confirms the presence of the Re'tu. Jacob briefs everyone on how dangerous the rebels can be. Charlie's "mother" informs the SGC about the location of the Re'tu rebels. Jacob, SG-1 and SG-12 go on a recon mission. Using Transphase Eradication Rods (TER's), they observe many Re'tu rebels training on the planet. Back on Earth, Carter installs a palm scanner in the control room to prevent another Re'Tu from opening the iris like "mother" did. Teal'c senses a Re'tu, and the base is locked down. SG-1 and Jacob search the base. They eventually kill the Re'tu's, but Jacob is injured. Selmak will heal him. Charlie's "mother" is killed by a rebel, and O'Neill is also injured in the fight. Charlie passes out, and Dr. Fraiser examines him. She can do nothing to help him. However, The Tok'Ra can help him. Charlie leaves the base with Jacob/Selmak.

Jeff Gulka appeared in six episodes of The X-Files (1993 to 2002) as Gibson Andrew Praise. The episodes he appeared in are "The End," "The Beginning," "Within," "Without," and the series finale "The Truth" Parts 1 and 2.

SG Teams:

 * Retalia is the home planet of the Re'tu. The planet is out of sync with Earth -- the planet is invisible.

 * The planet to which the task force gated to is a rebel Re'tu base where many rebel Re'tu are stationed. The planet's name and SGC computer designation is unknown.
