Chad's Summary: SG-1 returns to a planet they've visited before to find that the Touchstone, a device that controls weather, was stolen by people dressed much as they are. On General Hammond's order, Carter checks the dialing computer, and SG-1 realize that the second Stargate is in operation. General Hammond informs them that the second Stargate is located at Area 51. SG-1 goes to Area 51 to investigate. They ask Col. Maybourne about the Touchstone, and he denies any knowledge of the Touchstone. The team then inspect the second Stargate, and they discover that it is plastic. After O'Neill's argument with Maybourne, SG-1 returns to the SGC. Then, they return to the planet and dial the gate address for Earth. To send a M.A.L.P. through the second gate, they send enormous amounts of energy through the gate. After the M.A.L.P. reaches the location of the second gate, the M.A.L.P. is destroyed. General Hammond talks to a friend and gets the location of an NID landing site. The site also corresponds to the location of the second Stargate. SG-1 goes to the site and retrieves the Touchstone. The four people guarding the Touchstone retreat through the second gate. The Touchstone is returned to the planet. An iris is welded over the second gate, and it is placed under guard. The guards are SGC personnel.
