The Conclusion...

Chad's Summary: SG-1 tries to understand why the Tok'Ra do not want to be allies with Earth. The reason is that none of SG-1 have volunteered to be a host to Selmak--a dying Tok'Ra. Carter tells Garshaw/Yosuuf (Sarah Douglas) and Martouf about her father's illness, and she finds out that the Tok'Ra can cure Cancer. Carter offers her father as host to Selmak. The Tok'Ra allow O'Neill and Carter to return to Earth. After General Hammond is convinced, Sam tells her father about the Stargate and the Goa'uld. Although somewhat confused, Jacob realizes he might have a second chance at life and accompanies them back to the planet. Two Goa'uld Mother Ships are dispatched to destroy the Tok'Ra base. The Tok'Ra order an evacuation of the base, and the SG teams are free to go home. Jacob Carter is having second thoughts about blending with Selmak. Because he does not want to die, Jacob decides to blend with Selmak after Saroosh (Selmak's current host) convinces him of the Tok'Ra's good nature. O'Neill and Teal'c discover that the Tok'Ra have a spy in their ranks. Cordesh's host kills himself. Jackson realizes that the terminally ill people of Earth may want to become hosts to the Tok'Ra. After the blending, Jacob/Selmak can not be moved to safety before the impending Goa'uld attack; because they both may die. Because of Jackson's idea, the Tok'Ra and Earth become allies. Carter and Martouf stay with Jacob/Selmak while the rest of SG-1 and Garshaw/Yosuuf evacuate to Earth. After Jacob is healed, they make their escape to Earth under heavy Goa'uld attack. Jacob realizes that his and Sam's dreams have come true. The Tok'Ra leave the SGC.
