Chad's Summary: SG-1 gates to a seemingly abandoned planet, however, Teal'c is stung by a big alien insect. The larval Goa'uld is not helping Teal'c. Dr. Fraiser and Dr. Harlow (Scott Hylands) discover that Teal'c's DNA is being rewritten by the alien bug's venom. Maybourne has orders to take Teal'c to Area 51 for study. During the trip, Teal'c removes his larval Goa'uld and escapes. The SGC begins a search for Teal'c. SG-1 returns to the planet to obtain an insect for study in order to find a cure for Teal'c. After SG-1 shows him a video, General Hammond realizes that Teal'c will transform into many gigantic insects. Teal'c befriends a young girl named Ally (Colleen Rennison). The insect O'Neill shot in the gate room is studied to see what antibiotic will help Teal'c. The president rescinds Maybourne's orders to study Teal'c. Teal'c's symbiote is dying. A drug is found to help Teal'c with the aid of his symbiote. On O'Neill's suggestion, Dr. Fraiser and Carter run a small electrical charge to the symbiote. Ally calls O'Neill to help Teal'c.
