Chad's Summary: While Jackson and Teal'c return to Abydos, O'Neill and Carter go to Washington D.C. to receive medals. On Abydos, they discover a Pregnant Sha're Teal'c realizes she has access to the Goa'uld genetic memory and convinces Jackson to take her back to Earth. Carter's Father Jacob (Carmen Argenziano) gets her into NASA, but she does not want to go. Armin Selig (Chris Owens), a reporter, confronts O'Neill about the Stargate Program, but he denies knowledge of the program. O'Neill informs Hammond about the reporter. On their way to the Stargate, Sha're goes into labor. Heru-ur's Jaffa search for Apophis' queen. O'Neill has a conversation with Armin, and then Armin is hit by a car. The Awards ceremony is canceled. Carter finds out her father has cancer. Sha're gives birth and becomes Amounet. Teal'c, in disguise, takes the child away. General Hammond gives O'Neill and Carter their medals. They go to Abydos and have a fight with Heru-ur. Heru-ur rings to his ship. Apophis comes to get Amounet. After they leave, the team emerge from hiding and return home.

Chris Owens played F.B.I. Agent Jeffrey Spender on The X-Files (1993 to 2002). His first appearance was in "Patient X," and his last appearance was in the series finale "The Truth." He played Mr. Delay in the Mutant X (2001 to present) episode Interface." Owens played Deputy Bill Sherman in the Millennium (1996 to 1999) episode "Monster." He played Deputy Carl Hall in the Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal (1996 to 2000) episode "Reptilian Revenge" or "Ghostly Voices." Owens appeared as Roy Henry in the Tek War (1994 to 1995) episode "Chill Factor."
