Chad's Summary: SG-1 encounters a man running through an alien forest and are sent to prison for aiding a criminal. They look for a way home by searching for an alternate power source to power the gate in the absence of a DHD. SG-3 returns home with SG-1's equipment and tells General Hammond about SG-1's imprisonment. SG-1 makes a deal with a prisoner named Linea (Bonnie Bartlett) for a power source to escape the prison. Hammond decides to see the Taldor (the planet's law enforcers). His attempt to intervene on SG-1's behalf is unsuccessful. SG-1 and Linea escape and make their way to the planet where SG-3 has a recon mission. They then go to Earth. Back home, a stowaway prisoner identifies Linea as "The Destroyer of Worlds." linea puts Carter to sleep and escapes through the Stargate to an unknown world.

Actor Notes:

Bonnie Bartlett is the wife of actor William Daniels who provided the voice of the Knight Industries Two Thousand (K.I.T.T.) in the TV series Knight Rider (1982 to 1986).

Recurring Characters:

* This is Laara Sadiq's (Davis) 4th Episode.

* This is Colin Lawrence's (Warren) 3rd Episode.

SG Teams: 

* Major Warren is placed in command of the SG-3 Marines with a mission to rescue team SG-1. The teams next mission to P2A--509 will serve as a means for SG-1 to return to Earth.

* Major Stan Kovacek is the the commanding officer of team SG-9. SG-9 is deployed on missions of diplomatic importance. They are sent to negotiate the release of team SG-1 from the prison on the planet Hadante.

Destinations:

* Planet P3X--775 is home to a xenophobic people known as the Taldor. The Taldor have an unknown culture, because no SGC personnel has ever seen a Taldor. The Taldor is similar to Earth's rain forests. The xenophobes have a very strict justice system in which all crimes are punished with one penalty -- life the prison Hadante.

* Hadante is a prison to which the Taldor send their criminals or enemies. Hadante's SGC computer designation is unknown. The prison is a subterranean hole in the ground whose peole long since evacuated the above ground.
