Plot Outline:

            SG-1 discovers six humanoid people called the Tollans who survived massive volcanic activity on their planet. These people are more advanced than Earth people. Most of these people only ask questions and never answer them. However, Narim (Garwin Sanford) takes a liking to Carter. The Tollans are stuck on Earth when it is realized that their gate will be buried in a matter of days. The people escape the base and are tracked and returned to the base by SG-1. Col. Maybourne (Tom McBeath) and the NID want the Tollans for their knowledge and technology. SG-1 does not agree with Maybourne on the issue. Dr. Jackson and Omoc (Tobin Bell) contact the Nox for help. Maybourne threatens Dr. Jackson with a court--martial when he helps the aliens escape to the Nox World. Dr. Jackson can not be put through a court--marital, because he is not military personnel. à Plot Outline by Chad C.

Destination:

• Tollan --- is designated P3X—7763 by the SGC computer. The planet was destroyed by volcanic activity leaving behind only ten survivors who were rescued by team SG-1. A contributing factor to the demise of the planet is an unstable orbit. The surviving Tollans represent a culture that is technically superior to Earth.
