Plot
Outline:
SG-1
goes to a planet to observe a singularity (black hole). SG-7 and the entire
population of the planet, minus one girl, are discovered dead. The girl has
Naquadah (the base element of the Stargate) in her blood. O'Neill and Teal'c
remain on the planet to observe the singularity while Carter, Dr. Jackson and
Dr. Fraiser take Cassandra (Katie Stuart) back to Earth. Cassandra is not
infected with the disease that killed her people. Carter, Dr. Jackson and Dr.
Fraiser discover that Cassandra has a bomb in her chest. In the Telescope,
O'Neill and Teal'c see a Goa'uld attack ship from the Goa'uld Nurti. On their
way back to the Stargate, they are attacked by two Death Gliders. Cassandra is
taken to an abandoned nuclear complex before the bomb goes off. She is put to
sleep but wakes up before Carter can leave her. Cater decides not to leave
Cassandra. The bomb does not explode. The bomb inside Cassandra is reabsorbed
into her body. Dr. Fraiser takes Cassandra into her home and later adopts her. à

Hanka --- is designated P8X—987 by the SGC
computer. Hanka is the site of the SGC Project 169 mandated to study
the accretion disk of a black hole. The planet resembles Earth with a
temperate climate. Hanka supports a population of 1,428 plus the four
members of team SG-7. Sadly, all of the people, including SG-7, were
infected with an ultimately fatal virus as part of the Goa’uld Nurti’s
genetic experiments. Cassandra is the lone survivor of her people.
