• Plot Outline:

•             SG-1 returns from a mission without Dr. Jackson who is presumed dead. At the insistence of Dr. Fraiser, General Hammond places SG-1 on stand down for seven days. A memorial service is held for Dr. Jackson. However, Dr. Jackson is alive, and he is forced to translate an ancient writing for Nem (Gerard Plunkett). Nem threatens Jackson with death if he does not tell the alien of his mate's fate. The team begins to question their memories of Dr. Jackson's death. Carter Volunteers to be hypnotized to find out what really happened to Dr. Jackson, and she realizes that he is still alive. Dr. Jackson agrees to a memory probe in order to find out what happened to Nem's mate. He remembers that she was killed by the Goa'uld in ancient Babylon. The team retrieves Dr. Jackson and return to Earth. à Plot Outline by Chad C.

• Oannes --- is designated P3X—866 by the SGC computer. Oannes is a moon located around a gas giant. The moon has oceans and turbulent volcanic activity. The moon is home to Nem – the lone survivor of his race. The Oannesians were a race of amphibian people who lived in the oceans.
