Summary: Captain Archer is taking a shower when the gravity plating on E--Deck malfunctions. The gravity is soon restored. After a conversation with Dr. Phlox about breakfast, T'Pol orders a glass of water, from the replicator, to go with her traditional Vulcan breakfast. Instead of water, she gets a glass of black sludge. The crew discovers that a cloaked ship is causing the problems. An alien race known as the Xrillians are just trying to get home with a disabled engine. Tucker boards the ship to fix the warp engine. During his time on the ship, he gets to know an alien woman named Ah'Len (Julianne Christie). Before he leaves, Tucker visits a holodeck--like room with Ah'Len. Tucker and Ah'Len play a game that allows them to sense each other's thoughts along with another consequence. Tucker returns to the Enterprise. While eating breakfast, he notices something strange on his arm. Dr. Phlox tells hime that it's a nipple and that he is pregnant. After a conversation between Archer, T'Pol, Tucker and Dr. Phlox, Archer decides to find the Xrillians. They find the ship hiding in the plasma wake of a Klingon battle cruiser. After convincing the Klingons of the Enterprise's need to see the Xrillians, by telling them of Tucker's condition, Tucker gets the embryo transferred to another host.
