Spacesuit Diagram

This diagram by Frank R. Paul (also originally from Science Fiction Plus) details some of the features of the spacesuit used in his painting. The most unusual components are the fan-like devices on the chest, back, and legs of the suit. The article explains how these fans absorb
heat when contracted into the suit. When extended, the heat is dissipated. The use of a rear-view-mirror is also interesting.
