Don's Condo

We skipped watching the parade and went to Don's condo on Lakeshore Drive. The first sight I had was of his dining room. After I finished the sculpture, Mary put it on the buffet. Don pointed out immediately that the diagonal lines in the mirror matched the angles of the sculpture and it looked great.

The centerpiece in the livingroom is Don's coffee table. The glass top is suspended in front of the couch and anything placed on it appears to float in the air. In Monroeville, Don commented that my sculpture reminded him of this table. His discription of it gave me the inspiration to design the clock to appear levitating. THANKS Don.

Naturally I had to redecorate the kitchen for them. (roflol) I transformed the granite island into a shop space and began working on the sculpture.

Looking out through the window by the table you can see Lake Michigan.

In front of the condo is this beach section and an exercise path. A constant stream of people jogged, walked or cycled as far as I could see.
