In October of 2003 we have noticed that our web page does not appear for any keywords in the google search. Before, it was present for almost all appropriate keywords. We have contacted google adminstrators. However, they simply avoided to answer our question. Here is our correspondense with them. They disappeared a few days ago, so it looks like someone manually did that. It is interesting to know why someone from your company does such a nasty things? As we previously stated, Google does not manipulate the ranking of sites in our search results. This process is completely automated. If your site is no longer appearing for particular keywords, this is most likely due to normal fluctuation. Results in our index change regularly based on ongoing, automated processes aimed at improving the quality and content of our search results. Changes you may observe include, but are not limited to, addition of new sites, changes in the ranking of existing sites, sites falling out of the index or getting dropped and site's content fluctuating between old and new content. We realize these changes can be confusing. However, as stated above, these processes are completely automated and not indicative of wrong-doing or penalization of individual sites. Inclusion and ranking in Google is a free service. We currently include over 3 billion pages in our index and it is certainly our intent to represent the content of the Internet fairly and accurately. The ongoing changes you have observed are part of this effort. While there are no guarantees that your page will consistently appear in our index or appear with a particular rank, we do offer guidelines on our website for building a "crawler-friendly" site. You can find these guidelines at http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html . Following these guidelines may increase the likelihood that your site will show up consistently in Google search results. We hope the information we have provided above is helpful to you. Nevertheless, these two websites www.geocities.com/shervgis and www.geocities.com/scienews do not show up. These two web sites were appearing before for a few keywords. If search process is completely automated then why your program does not pick up these web sites? Moreover, you said that those web sites are in your database. Could you please figure out what is going on. Sincerely, Moderators of scienews. And this process is completely automated and depends on a page's PageRank. However, we have tried all possible keywords in google search. Non of these two web sites appear for any of keywords. Before October 2003, these websites were appearing for any keywords from those sites but not after October 2003. We would like to know why these two websites do not appear for any keywords after October 2003? We hope that we correctly formulated our question. Thank you in advance.
